Some more late bulbs potted up on Monday. Saw these in the woodland at Beth Chattos last year #ornithogalum #ornithogalumnutans #ornithogalum-nutans #droopingstarofbethlehem

I bought some of these three weeks ago for £1.00, as it’s a bit late to be planting them but I thought it was worth a try. I’ve put them in the ground🤞🤞

I have these but find them rather uninspiring. I need to find something to make them stand out better. Unfortunately I don't have woodland 🤔😂

Surely they deserve a prettier name! 😆

They should be alright Joan - mine were part of a bulk order I made last July but because there were delays on some of the other bulbs in the same order these arrived late and only last week. They looked ok, not too much growth yet - whereas the crocus I’d ordered were coming out their packets! 🙊 @joanboston

Oh that’s a shame Jane - I must admit I hardly noticed them at first when I saw them as they were growing out through a low shrub (can’t remember what now) but I thought they looked quite nice as a clump. We’ll see when they pop through. Perhaps they need a bold contrasting colour next to them. I’ll have to see what’s in flower at the same time @pelly

On the same stand that I took them off, there were crocus that had flowered and died in the packets. Can’t imagine they sold well!
