It is Deb 😀 I think I might have had it before come to think of it at another house, but can't find any old photos of it. @debs69
Been a bit of a busy day, but hopefully I'm not too late for #penstemon day 'Sour Grapes' 👍🏼😁
It looks lovely! I'm definitely hooked on them! 😀
Lovely Richard😍
Really pretty colour
Ok that's rather yum 👌🏻
Beautiful 😊
Hi @richard.spicer.7906 How are you? I am jealous of you with all your nice plants I your garden. You must have a big one, garden that is. Lol. I have a small postage stamp size garden. I love penstemon too, got mine in a pot. Will have to put a pic up of it. Sounds like you live a busy life style. I have seen you on FB.
So very lovely 😊
Thanks Simon - I've missed growing penstemon so this was a nice refresher for me. Hopefully I can keep them through winter. It's a fair sized garden but not that big. Needs constant attention and much of it is wild but working through those bits slowly to make new beds. @simon50
@richard.spicer.7906, I think it's all to do with the mild or harsh winters we have
@richard.spicer.7906 I leave all my perennial plants alone during the winter and when spring comes I cut all the dead stems to ground level when the new growth appears. I can grow monarchs, phlox, campanula s
@richard.spicer.7906 Salvia I can grow but crocosmias, penstemon and coneflowers I can't.
