And looks like I’m finally getting this one right, I’ve had this a little longer (already split it once into two pots) and almost killed it twice but it’s been growing strongly the last few months and these buds have appeared, same in other pot too 🤗 #primula #primula-marginata #primulamarginata #primulamarginatalindapope

I’ve really struggled to grow this alpine Primula, I’ve had it a couple of years and it’s never really grown bigger than a couple of open leaves which then rot off. I’m really careful with watering too and have even reduced it 🤷🏼‍♂️ but when I do sus it out it should have silver edged glaucous foliage with lilac flowers

Maybe it’s not cold enough- only guessing??🤔

Possibly, it’s been so mild the last couple of winters. Hope we do get a bit of cold soon, never thought I’d be saying that! If only to slow some things down @sharonhayden
