Another healthy growing cacti - I just scrolled back to previous pic and it was from last year and almost same setting in tunnel with fleece, but itโ€™s def evident it has filled out and got bigger this year. It flowered last year for the very first time in years and I put that down to being much happier outside than stuck indoors on a window. It also confirmed the name for me as it had bright orangey red flowers, didnโ€™t post a pic at the time but hoping will get it this year ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Yes, thatโ€™s it ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ @sunlovin - I couldnโ€™t find a specific encyclopaedia entry for albipilosa other than the main fiebrigii record. Iโ€™ve read it is synonymous but Iโ€™m guessing it must be a distinct form or variety as it is much more hairy than the straight species. The flowers were amazing, gutted I didnโ€™t find a photo of it but will get another this year and tag you

It does, like little pillows although Iโ€™m not sure Iโ€™d want to rest my head on them ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคญ - itโ€™s had a lot of neglect over the years @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
