Thanks! They turn from pink to white. They are certainly 'bulbous like..' below the soil surface but botanically I’m not sure if bulb is the correct term to use and I can’t find a definitive answer. Different websites refer to it differently. The national collection holder in UK refers to them as bulbs, RHS refers to them as herbaceous perennials (not incorrect necessarily, but also not specific) and wiki and other botanical sites say tuberous rhizomes - so the choice is yours! 😆 @ublaszko
