Well this is just splendid 😍. I wasn’t expecting this Sorbus Tree to colour up this intense this year because it’s not anywhere near mature yet but just look at the colour ❤️🧡❤️ - you can see how it gets it’s cultivar name 👌🏼. Can’t wait to see this progress over the next few years! This is what the one at the university looks like. Really bright orange and it looks amazing in the low sunlight 😍😍 I'm keen to get one but I haven't really seen any tree saplings sold in my area, not even Mozzers. I saw a bright orange corokia though which I'm thinking of getting. I can't seem to find pictures of it online but it's very unusual.

Morning 👋🏼 - I was generously gifted this grafted Sorbus a couple of weeks ago, and as it gets bigger it will have the most amazing autumn colours, one of the best I’ve ever seen on a Sorbus. I’ve seen a bigger one and it’s cultivar name is really fitting for this. Mine is only about 3ft tall right now so no where near mature, or even berries yet, and it may not even get the same colouring this year but it’s just starting to turn from green. Sorbus are ideal trees for the small garden too.

That looks very interesting, Rich. If the leaves do eventually colour up please post another photo. I might have to add it to the Wish List! @richard.spicer.7906

@richard.spicer.7906 I've planted one in every garden I've had so far. Love them, a great native 🌲

I just a sorbus with bright red and orange leaves on my way home 😍😍 Too cold to stop and take a pic but it looked glorious. I really want to get one with white berries as they look fantastic over winter.

That's great Candy, I've wanted one for ages but never could decide on one, and in the end I was given one! Can't wait to see how it progresses. @CJGardening

That would be a good contrast with white berries and autumn colour. They have one at college that is about 8ft now and it's just in a large pot. Seems to be very happy, but I guess needs a bit more watering than if it were in the ground - but shows it's very do able @ublaszko

They have a couple of the ones with white berries opposite my house and it really shows off in winter when the light is low.
