I know I only posted a pic of these tulips last week, but they are still going strong and looking more luscious now than ever. Almost 4 weeks in bloom now and still good quality 👍🏼 #tulip #tulipa #tuliparedhat

My kind of colour, gorgeous - do they behave like the parrot ones and end up splayed open (I don't like that)?

Thankfully not Franca - they keep it together nicely until they start to fade. Fortunately, where it's got cooler recently I think they are lasting longer this year than last. Been in flower since Easter and still looking good 👌🏼 @titchyfra

This is going to be a rich red flushed with metallic plum colour, with a fringed edge 😁 - will hopefully look stunning against these silver green #tulip leaves.

Now for a Tulip. I'm putting most of mine in Aqua pots sunk in the ground so that I can lift them after. This is a lovely red colour flushed with purple base, and a fringed edge 🤓. Planted 15th November.

@jopo I've struggled in previous years for my tulips to come back, so thought I'd try lifting next year and letting them bake in the sun 🤓

@kiwimaggers - here's an example of how I planted mine. I can then lift the whole basket out in one go.
