The last photo I had of this was last year when I had lots of individual single stem plants and no idea what to do with them, all propagated from just a couple of leaves. Well, I planted them up in this shallow terracotta pan (in the polytunnel) and they have done very well since. In winter it just gets a bit of fleece covering. Sometimes the stem tips died off from cold, but I left them and the stem further down produced new shoots. Colour changes in the sun are fab too 👌🏼

Looks like the propagation is doing good. I’ve always enjoyed how to take a minute and explain things. I love these little guys!!😊💕

It’s worked very well and they look great in that shallow terracotta pot. I’ve never propagated from the leaves. Must try sometime 👌

Not sure I like the alternative name, but a lovely plant

😄 - I think technically the other name is the 'official name' but someone thought it would sell better if they marketed as Darley Sunshine @joannie.a

Very easy Angela, but as I have so much of this now as it’s a quick grower so I just take stem cuttings as they root so easily and it gives you a nice plant quicker than from a leaf @italydiva

The winter colour change on this beauty is amazing, and it’s getting quite big. It’s 'Darley Sunshine', or 'Francesco Baldi' - whatever name takes your fancy! Even if it does get a bit cold damaged I’m hoping it’s just the tips and I can cut the ends off and it will shoot from the base. #succulentsunday #graptosedum #xgraptosedum #graptosedumdarleysunshine #graptosedumfrancescobaldi #succulent

I was a bit less worried about these as I had a load of cuttings last year that I left outside and they were absolutely fine, in fact they are still here. But these two pots were the mother plants - it grows really quickly doesn’t it Celina? @cee

Thanks QT 😊🙏🏼 - yes, there is some debate as to which come first (and so which is technically the right one) but it’s sold as either in different parts of the world. I think in UK and US it’s sold mostly as Darley Sunshine. Either way, it looks great at this colour, will go very green in spring no doubt, then even different again when the sun returns 🌞 @QT

The x Graptosedum leaf prop donated to me earlier in the year that started it all.... looks kinda good now. Amazing how quickly this thing grows too. I was informed this was called ‘Darley Sunshine’ but can’t find any info on it on ICN, although it is in the GT database. What is the diff between Darley Sunshine and Francesco Baldi? 🤔 or are they they same thing? 🤷🏼‍♂️ #xgraptosedum #graptosedum

I saw a post on Echeveria Aus FB where people are adding aka and incorrect names after the correct name for plants.I saw that someone commented Darley Sunshine was a US name for GFB ??? @Yollymac Apparrenly Altman's sell it as that name?

@Muxx67 I know I’m guilty because I did it the other day I believe I got the Echeveria correct but I guess that was the species name wrong and I know I should’ve done that but I knew someone would correct me. But you have a very legitimate gripe because we all need to know correct genius and species and some many other things but some people seem to get a little offended but I’m sure you all will figure it out that’s why I refer questions to ambassadors if possible. Have a good night🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😊

I am no expert so don't take my word on it but I read on a Spanish forum that they differ from each other by the size of the rosette, being DS bigger than FB. Sorry if it is wrong.

Thanks Daniela 😊 @r3trovertigo - always good to hear what others know, and interesting what comments you've seen. I'm certainly going to keep it labelled as originally received DS so I don't forget it, and hopefully some point in future some commentary might appear on the ICN website (even if it takes a few years 😂)
