Casualties caused by rain last night 😓🥲 their flower bunches are so complex that they collected lots of raindrops inside, which eventually made them too heavy to stay upright.... Aeonium Green Rose.

This flower head seems different from other Green Rose's ones. It seems that tiny rosettes are being formed from each sub-branch🤔 Do you know why this is happening?

Going dormant. Larger, lower leaves are all gone, leaving the newer ones without growing them further.

Successful result of grafting Chocolate Rose Aeonium into Green Rose Aeonium 👍👍👍
Resulting in a bit of a #splitpersonality effect 👏 #foliagefriday

👏👏👏
@emch "split personality" 😄

Roughly three months later after grafting, only this one, out of five attempts, has survived 😙
One out of five ain't bad
Oh well done! 👏🏼

For almost one month, this flower bunch has been blooming, but seems to have reached the last phase💛

I didn't want to waste the victim of the nasty wind, and tried to use this BIG flower head for Ikebana 😅 but dunno what to do with it 😅😅

The third or fourth rainy week this autumn/winter turned into a nasty storm, claiming this big flower head as a victim 😭. It was broken off...

Here's an update after "unlocking" those closed rosettes. It seems that they're very happy, enjoying today's full sun 🌞🌞🌞

This rosette tightly curls up and haven't opened up at least for a few weeks. I thought maybe a bug or caterpillar would be inside, but the curled part seems empty. The curled part is also very hard. What's happening to this rosette?

Good idea to get a cutting if you can. I lost this one after flowering.
@rosegardengirl thanks, I'll do that!

The biggest aeonium I have, so generous that it breaks off a few big branches which I can give away 😘

Repotted after the soil was found mouldy. As many websites say aeoiums need a bit of moisture, the soil mix is 3 part of succulent mix and 1 part of perlite.
Beautiful 💛
Thank you, @suerichards
