😭😭😭 other siblings who are struggling to survive my first trial of growing echeverias from their seeds I heavested from my collection...

It’s very satisfying though - yours all look good. I tried some from seed a few years ago, still have most of them but it was a slow process - esp in uk climate, I have them indoors and they seem to take months to show any growth. Hoping this year I can finally pot them on and move them outside with the rest of mine.

@richard.spicer.7906 it's great that you're also looking after baby succulents😘 hope this spring (on your end) will help them grow even further🌱

These pups are the biggest ones grown from the seeds. Planted in early spring in 2020, so they're just over 2 yo 😍😘

The very tiny seeds from Echeveria Ebony, have sprouted in just seven days 😍 How many will survive from now on?

How wonderful! So tiny!! What is the substrate? Sand?

Wow I’ve never seen succulents grown from seed before. Amazing 🤩

Hi @lovestogarden. This is just an experiment. I mixed screened potting mix (3 parts) and coarse sand (1 part). Bottom watered the containers. Then, sprinkled fine sand on top, spread seeds, then sprinkled fine sand again.

Thank you @philstalder ❤️ I used to discard expired flower stalks, but this year, i wanted to know how their seeds look like. They're like dust 😄

That’s amazing. Great job. 👍

If your 2yo pups are about 3 times wider than my index finger's nail, how old are you???😬
