Comparison between live and dead leaves. The dead ones are quite colourful and pretty❣️

They are beautifully colourful in both forms but the dead ones seem to be brighter 🤩

@richard.spicer.7906 that's right, interesting, isn't it? As the dead ones get dryer, however, the vivid colours slowly fade out 🥲

Coleus "Combat". Their leaves look prettier when they're dead, especially when viewed from the back😍

Flowering in purple. Flower shape and how they attach to a flower stalk are similar to those of 'shiso'.

Second one. Leaves were heavily eaten by caterpillars😖

Combat seems to have the least level of resistance to chilly mornings, 5 degrees in May 2023. Their young seedlings started to show brown patches on the leaves, so I had to move them indoors a week ago. Now they look much happier inside the house.
