Salvia x hybrida 'Ember's Wish'

A lot of the garden is looking a little 'work sore' this evening. I will all settle down again in a few days. #Salvia "Embers Wish" looks dandy though. #red

That's great @robbiec is this an annual as none of mine came back this year☹️

@titchyfra listed as perennial but not the toughest. Make sure doesn't get too wet over winter either. Should survive the odd -5 but nothing sustained. Would treat it as a half hardy. Watch for slugs on early growth.

@titchyfra first time I've owned any in my garden. We will see how I do with them. Have three cultivars to try.

The wet may have got to it then as clay soil @robbiec even if it was in sunniest part of garden- no signs of life just woody base , don't think any doctor can bring it back 😦 oh well

@titchyfra no, should be grow well by now. Try it in a pot if you want another go, that's what I am doing.

Is your plan to overwinter @robbiec in their pots
