Does anyone know what attacks my white ginger. I've sprayed it with a pyrethum spray.

Have you seen lots of tiny white flies? It looks like whitefly, but not sure if that’s a pest in oz.

@richard.spicer.7906 I've heard of white fly but haven't seen one.

@rosegardengirl @richard.spicer.7906 looks like white fly. There are lots of remedies on Google from soapy water or cooking oil mix to the one I use when pests get bad, Eco-oil. I try a strong blast with the hose first, often that fixes some pests at the start. Have a look at the Garden Guru YouTube clip on Eco-oil https://youtu.be/0VOYBq_EXmQ

@Annettenoosa will try the white oil. We are on level 4 water restrictions now. We were allowed to use every second day for 10 minutes, now none at all. We recycle shower and washing water, but that's not enough to keep our whole garden alive. A bit worrying don't want to lose any of my beautiful garden.

@rosegardengirl drought and water restrictions make it very hard and discouraging when you see your garden limp and wilting. No amount of hose watering can compare to the rainfall. We have had some good falls recently, the first since August. The rain has completely transformed the garden. Hope you get some soon. Make sure you get right into the new growth when you treat the white fly. The ginger is good and hardy, I am sure it will bounce back. 🦜
