I thought I'd lost this plant and a friend was looking after it for me while we were away. Such a lovely surprise when she brought it back today.
Is that id correct? When I first glanced at it is thought it was a dudleya, I think its the white powdery look that makes me think that... (I could totally be wrong though) edit: don't worry I'm wrong I just looked at the previous photos
What a cool plant !! New to me . 😍😍
She is beautiful ❤️
@erino I love the way this one changes so much through the seasons looks like totally different plant.
@belle1988 this looks like your plant.

@frany66 Fran unfortunately I had lots of this and gave away a heap of pups but now mine seems to be struggling. Hoping the two small ones pick up.
Oh no. Hope they come good for you Ros @rosegardengirl. I hate losing any

Flowers starting to open at last
#succulent #duncecap
@Addict this is my plant at different stages. Different colour to yours but the babies on mine look darker now with all the rain we've had.
Thank you @rosegardengirl :) do you know if the whole species grow like this? Yours is fimbriata and mine is supposedly spinosa? :)
@Addict I think the spinosa is the little one I have that as well. Different but I'm really not sure. A bit confusing.
Wow it really is a beautiful plant

@zinniasrock do you know if they are flowers or more pups between the leaves.
Stunning 🤗
Wow amazing Roslyn !
@Muzz67 Jacque is yours still growing ok.
Yes! It is ! You sent me 2 .Was it this one as i havent catalogued them yet ?
Yes. One of my favourites because it’s so interesting all the changes throughout the seasons
Both are really growing well Roslyn .I will take pics tomorrow and catalogue 😁
@Yollymac , just noticed you had something similar to this was a little unsure of the ID when I first created this one. This is it now after many offsets.
This is totally incredible- I love it so much! 😍
This one is actually spinosa, not fimbriata.

Oh my god that’s so cool!!! 😱
@Yollymac did you slide through the previous pictures. It has changed so much. Gave me lots of babies but I think it will die after it flowers.
I did, it’s an incredible plant!!
Wow!
Break off some bottom leaves now and get them started so you have babies! ❤ #succulent #duncescap #orostachys
@lovestogarden Janice I would love to send you one of the babies if you were closer I've had so many from this plant.
Thank you so much for your thoughts, but I live in a state that can not accept any out-of-state plants because of our agriculture industry. It is very sweet though. ❤💕
Stop teasing me Roslyn

@Outbackmum Nadine, think I sent y,ou one of these if I didn't or if it didn't survive I can send another one. Probably best when it's cooler. Been so hot.
That’s incredible!
Wow!
Love this one. Been on my wishlist for a while
@frany66 next time I’m down your way will bring you a pup.
Oh that would be wonderful. Have a look through mine and see if I have anything you want. We could do another swap

@Muzz67 Jacqui @alovealoe April not sure if I've put the names in the right place in the encyclopaedia.
Looks ok if you mean what it says up the top ?
The second part to the scientific name should be lowercase.

Help me identify this plant please @Muzz67 @alovealoe very interesting with the centre. Wondering what is going to happen.
That is interesting. I'm not sure. Try www.reddit.com/r/succulents
Gosh ! I have never seen one of these .Time will tell I guess ?
@Muzz67 Jacqui I googled sunflower looking succulent and Pinterest came up with one but it was the botanical name for dunces cap???
Is it an orostachys spinosa ? http://www.crassulaceae.ch/de/artikel?akID=79&aaID=2&aiID=S&aID=1634
@muzz67 don't think this is the right name, but two ppl have given the same advice on succulent swap Australia for a similar plant so I'm a little confused.
I picked up one of these today, I forgot to ask its name 😕
@janene hope we can find out soon. Very interesting.
I have this two like this. The name tag says Orostachys Erubescens. I have one in flower at their moment.
@zinniasrock thanks Rachel.
@zinniasrock Do you have a photo of it in flower?
@janene there is a picture on @zinniasrock
