Mine only gets black mould and a few leaves. Humidity perhaps. Never seen seed pods!!

Wow, that's surprising. Mine don't have a lot of leaves at any time of year but they get a fair bit of flower and an awful lot get pollinated. No black mould though. Do you see a lot of solitary bees or blue banded bees or fuzzy bears?

I love mine. So easy to become an established plant. Only thing here in Brisbane can be black mould and mealy bug.

@sussanah no problem here with mould but they are almost a weed as they seed really well.😀🌟💛
