Love to grow anything under the sun. Surrounding myself with my pets, plants, and nature. I’m up for seed swaps: Rodolfo.gutierrez8807@yahoo.com

I just bought one of these beauties at home depot, loving the dark foliage, very different. How is yours doing? Has it grown much since you got it? Wondering🤔how tall she'll grow💚 @rudester1

@crabby58 unfortunately she was a drama queen and I couldn’t get her conditions just right. The first few weeks were fine until I moved her to get a bit more sun and that’s when it all started to go downhill. My sister has hers in her living room window and I tried to do the same but no success. I did acquire another and for some reason it likes being neglected. It’s been dried out for a few weeks and in indirect sun and she’s doing great. A lot smaller than my first but she’s happy.

I also had babies that needed constant moisture. Without it they all died. I’m so confused as to how this new one is thriving. Maybe too much care for the first one? Alocasias in general I struggle with. They tend to need higher humidity and I couldn’t provide that with my move. I lost two varieties. I will be acquiring more in the near future as soon as I’m setup. @crabby58

That's good to know👍good luck with your move, that right there could cause a lot of stress on plants too. I also started 2 avocado seeds in water. No roots yet, it's been about 2 weeks though👍 @rudester1
