I live in the West Midlands and know very little about gardening but love being outside. Getting the gardening bug!

I removed the frost damaged leaves (probably need to remove the stalks too) and there's new growth! Really pleased because it was looking very bare. Has yours improved Julie? @vec Thanks to Sue for the advice. 👍 @acermad

Just as the new leaves appeared in mid April, we had one sharp frost. It was planted out late last summer so I'm hoping it recovers.

And again, I have the same problem. I'm gutted. My green acers are ok but my red ones are awful 😢😢😢

Such a shame. So do we have to wait until next year for new growth, or should they pick up? @vec

I've absolutely no idea. It's never happened to me before. Perhaps @acermad may know

There's a pattern going on here 😂 This happened to mine and I'm sure they're beyond help now Sandra and Julie @vec I have no leaves left now and there's something strange going on with the bark on one of mine. A funny discolouration that I think someone else posted on here 🤔 Sounded serious at the time, so I'm hoping it's not this. Was it yours Lexi @lexijane 🤔

I will hang onto them then Keely @keely. Just noticed two tiny leaves appearing on one of them, but it's right at the bottom near the soil. I've had them both for a few years but they're not as big as I expected them to get. Mozzers specials, which were cheap but tiny
