@Rw1980 probably, avoid placing it in drying winds and hot sun. Acers also like a moist but well drained soil. Yours looks like it's in a pot so you could also try re-potting it using John Innes no2 compost.

@thegreenhornet thanks,only been in a month got a red 1 too and it's the same will move them to the front of the house,less sun and wind 👍
