Yes, @katgreen. They have a sweet and strong scent and flavour and a soft consistency. The green fruits have been also used a lot in the elaboration of meals, and known as a "vegetarian meat". When cutting the fruit, it releases a sticky sap, so the work is not very easy. Not everyone likes it...
