Ah well, weeds do have one really good attribute. They are usually well adapted to their locality & grow well as a result. Not so good though if like most weeds, it's not one you want! 😁

It’s a great plant but all I have to do is get chopping and digging . It sets roots wherever it touches the ground. So that’s a lot of trimming and digging up unwanted additions 😅 @jeatacake

I didn't know they did that. Handy if you wanted some extra plants, but a nuisance if they're becoming invasive 🤔

They needed a trim this spring but so far it’s been manageable 💚 @jeatacake

This fern used to be inside and never had any flowers but about a year ago my mom decided to transfer it outside to the ground. It must like its new home. It’s in a sheltered spot with loads of sunlight. Maybe that’s the reason for the outburst of flowers @ShelleySnyder @gjones

@sabbanrula the flowers will produce berries that start out green then turn red, inside will be a black hard seed, plant them and you can grow more 😉

My fern seems to carrying tiny stars #green #fern

They’re flowers currently but they’re so tiny I can’t tell when they turn to seeds if they do. It has never propagated by seeds in my garden. I air- or ground-layer it when I want more 😁 @gjones
