It is unusual & the flowers are very like those of a rock rose, but far less delicate I'm sure 👍

Oh yes, I think I know the one you have in mind Jeff. The petals are the usual iris texture so it’s sturdier than the rock rose💛💛 @jeatacake

This is a Fortnight Lily or Yellow African Spanish Iris.

Thank you Jane and Glyn and Katy 😍 My mom bought it from a local nursery and he only said they imported it from Palestine but they weren't sure of it. Good to know it's a yellow aftrican spanish Iris (fortnight lily) @pelly @gjones
