We’ll have to wait for a hybrid breed with hardier tolerance for frost. But you could try. Sometimes these plants surprise you with their climate change tolerance. @jeatacake

Yes, thst is true & they may be ok in a mild winter here. I could try them in a large pot or tub, so that I can keep them in the greenhouse over winter 🤔

See! It is possible 😊 but I have to warn that given the proper care they will grow quickly and take up a large area in the garden @jeatacake

Wow! Really? I don't mind such a beautiful plant doing that. It may not be quite so vigorous though in a UK climate.

Took this late in Autumn.. I didn't know what it was but now I think it might be cape honeysuckle 🤔🤔
