One surviving dianthus planted into rockery. I emptied previous square pot since that position wasn't suitable.

I loved dianthus, I just can't have plants in sheltered position where rain doesn't reach. At least this one survived, hopefully will see the color. To purchase again.

#repotting-day all dianthus together, they didn't thrive mixed with vincas. Striated is gone and white withered, I hope it will recover.

Month after this picture and all the flowers are gone - I need to replant it somewhere else, too much midday sun here for them, I guess - and vinca is thriving. Or maybe not good companion plants.

5w later and this is not working, dianthus is in really bad shape and vinca is fine. I will replant all 3 red vincas together in one pot and all 4 dianthus together in another.

Older sister survived the whole winter outside unattended, that's why I purchased younger one. Maybe to purchase dwarf lavander as a companion.
