@brightcolours I never trimmed any. Older ones are becoming a bit too dense over the years. How to trim? New ones are thin, still establishing themselves.

5 weeks after planting. Wild garlic infestation looks like improving so now I can mulch the ground.

#planted after digging out massive wild garlic infestation the best I could: managed to take out lots of garlic plants together with bulbs, but there are myriad teeny ones that I only moved around digging, in hope that will be enough to kill them.

Finally #planted took me hours to clear that one square meter for 4 plants - curious what happens next 🤞

I have clay too, and wild garlic that keeps appearing. If only there was digging attachment for electric drill or something. But I'm so glad I planted this finally.
