Beautiful and sad all at once. I have waited so long for this to flower and all of a sudden it is gone 😢

All four of this year's flowers are open. Happy and sad all at the same time!

Oh wow open already! How long will they last?

About 10 days. It makes me happy they are open and sad they will soon be gone. On the up side all my other Peonies are in bud. @Hellebore

Oh 😔😢 ten days of my peony on here then 😂 yes my other 3 herbaceous peonies have flower buds one was only planted last Oct (a birthday gift) and the other two the year previous but didn't flower last year so pleased to see they have settled in and are enjoying their conditions enough to flower 😄😃 look forward to seeing yours on here!

@justin my destroyed Tree Peony is nearly in flower, how is yours doing?

Yes my yellow one has four buds on it and just yesterday I noticed very small buds on the other red rippled one which I'm actually stunned about so I'm very pleased 👍🏼

@justin I have 7 peonies in my garden and I can see buds on 4 of them. Life is good 😂

Mines still playing peek a boo and only just started growing! Soooo jealous xx

To cut a lingerie story short. 3rd year for this peony. It was in flower when I bought it but it sulked last year and didn't flower. At the end of the summer it was destroyed by a football and a six year old. I bound the stem and prayed to the flower God 😂. It is covered in flower buds, very early! @bigemrg there is hope for yours yet!

Hehe! A lingerie story eh? 😀 My peonies have all emerged safely in the last week or so, so stage one is complete! Now just got to get them to the flower bud stage! I'll also be praying to the flower God! 😀

All the little plants aound it are self seeded Cetinthe.

Now peonies are one of my favourites, although mine are still not showing up yet. Yours has grow amazingly fast. I'm sure a lingerie story would be very interesting too, but best leave it until after 9.00 pm, lol! 😁

Ha ha ha. I'm sure we've all done it. I've done it all too often. Predictive text on my tablet has a nasty habit of changing "great" to something that would be covered by lingerie! Soooo embarrassing if I don't spot it! 😂
