Thanks @lesliecole49 !! I guess the oranges have never been picked before so they aren't very sweet. So we are picking every single one, so make them sweeter for next year.
My Dad said naval @lovestogarden , but I'm looking at an orange that was picked right now and they don't look very navel-y 😆 so you're right. Probably Valencia. Thanks!! 💚🥰
Give it a good feeding ith citus food and or steer manure. Also know that the fruit gets sweetie if left on the tree longer. Now is also the time to trim them. Deep, slow watering, not drenching the soil, is good for them.
