So, I have this Aloe Firebird with 4 pups. All the pups are pretty big now and I'm trying to decide if I should separate them or leave them in a cluster. I like the look of it, but they're definitely getting in each other's way. If I separate them, I'll probably gift the babies to plant friends. What would you do? Separate or keep them together? #succulentsunday #aloe-firebird #advice #pups #succulentpups

Aloe's have big roots, so I'd say to separate it, even though it looks beautiful 😍
Separate, for sure.

My Aloe 'Firebird' is doing well I think. I feel like if this plant were a person it would be doing jazz hands. #aloe #aloe-firebird #succulents #succulent #houseplant

I love it, I also like the pot next to it with all the buttons, now I've been inspired for what to do with some heart shaped buttons I've had for years. 😍

@Melissabsgarden That sounds super cute! You should post a picture when you make it. 😊

I'll definitely do so, it could be a while though.
Separated the babies today! All but one had some roots. I'll use rooting hormone when I plant that one. For now, I'll leave them out to dry their wounds. Anybody want a pup? I don't have 4 in person plant friends. 😂 #aloe-firebird #aloe #pups #aloepups #roots #freepuppies
Wish you were closer! I love my aloe plants and don’t have that one
@sarahssassysucculents I'd be willing to mail one, if you want it. ☺️ Shoot me an email if you do. If not, no worries. johnlovessoysauce@gmail.com
Never seen a aloe firebird before.
