I have mostly houseplants and cacti. I'm a beginner doing constant research, trying not to kill anything. USDA zones 8a and 8b.

Asparagus retrofractus (A. macowanii)

I think it's about time I introduce my Ming Fern, Bert. Bert is short for Alberto. #mingfern #asparagus-macowanii #fern #teacup #houseplant #houseplants

@sarahkbartley Thank you! I'm thinking about posting another teacup plant, but I'm trying not to blow up the feed. 😂

Sometimes you just gotta blow up the feed a little to get your posts out 😉😂

Oo, will those fill out or stay cute? Also any soil tips for ferns?

I'm not sure yet because I haven't had it long, but I think it fills out if you keep repotting it bigger. Anything that retains moisture but drains well(seems conflicting, I know). I have some of mine in a mixture of peat moss and perlite, and some in moisture control potting mix. Fun fact: some ferns like a little spritz of lime juice mixed in. 🍈 @romansocks
