Lovely foliage!

Ophelia has been putting out lots of new growth, but all of the newest leaves are kind of short and squat like this one on the left. Does that mean something? It was sold to me as 3 plants in one pot. Do they need to be separated so they can spread out and have bigger leaves? Idk maybe I'm overanalyzing.
