Ceropegia linearis subsp. woodii variegata

A friend fell in love with my variegated String of Hearts but I haven’t any tubers to give. And I wasn’t sure that they would root in water until i did a quick search on GT and saw @lovestogarden ‘s post :) fingers crossed this goes well!

It takes a long time. I was always taught to propagate cuttings in a clear glass container. I do not know for sure about this, but it works with multiple water changes. ❤

@lovestogarden thanks Janice! I’ve changed it to glass but did further reading online and there’s a woman who says she puts the ends in water for a couple of days before transferring them to soil and it works for her. So was thinking of doing an experiment on both methods to see what works. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
