Help me identifythis plant know it is not a leptospernum they die in the wind . Know it would be a new zealand or south african plant because they are what interests me .

Thankyou i remember now i thought i would give it a go as other myrtles do so well .seems to tolerate the the salt very well .flowers forever too ! Shall run out and write its name on a stone so i dont forget .
