Yes @KariSamuel , actually i didn't had a pot for it so I put it in a ice-cream cup. But now its have a lots of growing space.

@sumitkalra you can grow it in Delhi also. Its a shade loving plant, thats all care u need to take that's it.

It looks like a leaf used in Japanese cuisine known as Red Shiso (Shi-So). Flavors a mix of mint, basil, anise and cinnamon. From the mint family. Perilla frutescens var crispa. Also known as 'perilla mint' 'Perilla' and 'beefsteak plant'. @Jasonsparkes1 @anges @jyotu @kaporyash @suerichards

@Annettenoosa The leafs are very rough, almost like alumroot leaves. No scent no minty flavor. It also have small white flower. 😟

Shiso leaf has a crisp texture . However it is aromatic and the flower is similar to Coleus flower. I was not sure if the little white flower belonged to this plant. Sorry I have not made the correct id for you. Hope someone else can help. 🐨🙃🐨

@bluefox23 thanks for your efforts, 🙂 but I can confirm that it's not coleus, coz the leafs are very hard and feels like artificial as compared to coleus.

It’s called purple passion, Swedish ivy or velvet plant. Gynura aurantiaca.
