Clematis chiisanensis 'Amber'

Its flowering, I only planted this a few weeks ago 💕

So today this arrived and now it planted, its a 2 year old so good to go in the ground. I had this variety for a few years but last year it just collapsed in a heap and no matter what I did I couldn't revive it, so treated myself to a new one. 23 /02/2021 #clematis Amber

I had that a few years ago now but the frost killed it so always bark it at winter...little tip 😉

Oh that’s a shame ☹️ good that you have a new one. I wonder if the last one suffered from Clematis Wilt?

Does it have any scent @shelley? Only I had a similar one called 'Love Child' which had a lovely light #perfume i miss that clem!

@Patiorose no it doesn't have a scent but is was Chelsea plant of the year 2016 so a lovely plant to have in the garden
