@cyndi that's why I'm so shocked at these! Cuz they have been thru 2 snow's and quiet a few freezing temps. Around here these are usually long gone! They could at least have the decency to bloom if they are going to stick around!!🤣🤣💘😍

@mamasan no it's new this year, I say it's doing good because I usually have to cut off the lower spikes on them, but this year not one!!💘😍

Ooooh!look at my new spike it's called 'can can' (I hope the picture does it justice). I'm going to put it in a pot with something hanging over the edges I think. Let it show off!

@columbiariver mondo should be a perennial for us, the spikes are iffy-I've had the green ones last for years ! The colored ones I never know if it's gonna make it thru wintertime till next spring🤔

@columbiariver @ShelleySnyder - if you mulched them super heavy and added a protective cover, would that save them over winter?

@KariSamuel IBELIEVE that would work if they were in the ground but mine are always in pots. I have to keep the nurseries in business ya know!LOL!!😆😉
