#hardyhibiscus finally my white one is blooming! The fence behind is 4ft. Tall and these things are 5&1/2 tall! Now mind you they get cut back to about 1&1/2 to 2 ft!! No wonder you can use them as hedges!!

#roseofsharon she's finally starting to bloom!!! Yipee!!! There's a white one with the dark red center behind her and loaded with buds but not quite blooming yet!🌺🌺🌺🌺
So pretty how do you keep them under control? Keep trimming? A neighbor asked me lol I said no clue but I'm sure I can find out. Lol
@janelleabella we wack the hell out of these guys!!! We cut them to about 2ft. Tall in early spring! They can be cut any time they are one tough plant!! The reason we have them were they are is cuz the hubs hates the mess they make and outside the gate you don't see it so much!😁😁
Planted these from seed about 3 weeks ago...still no new growth...might have put seeds to deep..not sure...unless it takes a long time to germinate...any clue???
@drea0508 oh boy!! I'm not a good one to ask about seed!! I haven't planted or grown anything from seed in like forever, but I might know some people who do!! @Acetaker @jennlamaye @lovestogarden @columbiariver @cyndi @lesliecole49 @KariSamuel
@ShelleySnyder @drea0508 When planting a seed only place a few inches into the ground. You want the roots to form and hold foliage. Too deep and it takes awhile for it to come to the top or if too deep and it stays to wet it will rot. I water mine throughly then spritz top of soil to water after so inside soil doesn't get soggy. Unless u have it in the ground..cover with mulch and ck on it every few days after. Usually within 7 to 10 days u should see it coming to the top of soil...
@cyndi actually I don't all my plant come's off the bush itself. Maybe I'll see if I can get a piece to root! By the way what does lmao mean?(remember I'm tech dumb!😂) 💘😍
@cyndi now if I can just remember it!!😂😂😂
@cyndi oh by the way talk about spreaders these hibiscus are used for hedging ya know!! Mine are small cuz we are whackers!!! 💘😍
@cyndi uhoh!! You talkin over my head now!!!😂🤣 no desktop! Only a phone( which won't hold hardly anything, getting a new one soon!) And a tablet!! Word sounds a bit familiar to me tho!! I have a friend thats smart about this stuff maybe I'll ask her and test her patients!!😂😂😂😂
@columbiariver YOU ARE EAVESDROPPING!!! Shame on you!!!😂😂😂😂😂 I only have my gts on my tablet, for obvious reasons, plus I want to see the BIG picture!! Idon't have a prob. Yet with my eyes, but who knows in the future! Seems to me like you should be able to see gts on your laptop! But what do I know!!💘😍 @cyndi
