I chopped the life out of one I had a few years ago and thought I'd killed it but it looked fab when it grew back 😁

@ShelleySnyder when do you cut it back? Before or after winter? If you leave it till now it’s protected and then cut it back and it’ll produce new growth.

@pixierose I've cut it in fall and spring and it didn't seem to matter to it, this year it was cut last fall💘😍

How old is It? Maybe it's just had enough and wants to retire 😂 they are dead easy to take cuttings from I'd do that and start again with a young one 😊

Mine starts off like this sure it will burst into leaf before you know it 💘💛💘💛

@ShelleySnyder it may have had enough as @Keely mentions. Taking cuttings will give you many more new plants and maybe the original has to be retired to the compost heap?! 🙂
