I was given both pink and white many years ago - sadly lost the white one but I've checked encyclopaedia link & it says colour range is from white to pale to rich pink. Looks like we're both right Tom @tombr The pink has now overtaken a part of garden and flourishing well in full sun😃💕

I think the link describes Japanese anemones generally rather than Honorine Jobert specifically. It may have been copied and not amended correctly. We can agree that it has a propensity to take over if it feels at home - I too have quite a big section of pink ones. It was one of my mother’s favourite flowers so relecutant to get rid of.
