Very beautiful . One of my favorites. This is papavar orientale not opium. Opium poppy has smothe grey leaves and is an upright not rosette.@SikoMa

I have absolutely no clue @Sussanah. I've never had these before, and know nothing about them. Maybe @gjones @jeatacake @mrsflowerpot @mikethegardener would know the answer to your question above?🤔🤔🤔

There are loads of them in our garden & I've always known them as Japanese poppies over here. I absolutely love them & ours are flowering like crazy right now 💝👍
