Own a small ranch in NW Montana. The property is a jungle of plants/flowers. I can tell you just about anything horsey, still learning about plants😄

Help me identify this plant please. Found these beauties in the jungle, back yard. Not sure what they are. #plantid

It's a Vetch, possibly Fodder Vetch (Vicia villosa)

@tiggrx , how is that different than Bird Vetch? Or are they the same. I'm not sure how to tell the difference. I guess either way, it is just a pretty weed😢.

I had to Google 'Bird Vetch', turns out to be what we call 'Tufted Vetch' here the UK. Fodder Vetch has hairy stems (you might need to look with a magnifying glass) and Bird Vetch has smooth stems.

Thank you @tiggrx . It does have a hairy stem. So I guess that makes this Fodder Vetch. I'm slowly learning. Thank you😄

Sorry..... Crowned Vetch. It's gorgeous, but considered a noxious weed in Wisconsin.
