New to gardening very little knowledge but I adore and love my scented pelargoniums, the lemony ones, and not engineered ones, the ones nature makes.

As you can see 1 has gone bazonkers and the other is struggling with limp leaves. My question to you clever folks is should I separate them , delicately, and do I cut ,manic, one back? Thank you for your advice

Pic 2 of 3. This plant died over winter last year and I was about the throw it out when I saw 2 tiny shoots. So I reported entire old branch with roots.
