Yes I believe so @gardengimp I've grown it in pots a lot but this is the first time in the ground I've put it in an easy spot to trap it if need be but I'm not sure I will mind if it does spread 😊

I think you've chosen the wrong name. Looks like a Leptinella/Cotula rather than a Phormium.
