So i sprayed my Acer with Green/Black Fly pesticide and it's lost all it's leaves!! What do you guys think will it come back or is it time for the bin?? 😮 #sickplant #acer #japanesemaple

@Mikekally Oh yes! And i did it to my "going red" Acer as well. Both of them are looking horrible 😕

😭 that's so upsetting @spidermonkey. Don't have the first clue what to do, but Im wondering if snipping it back a bit to try and generate new leaf buds would work?

I was thinking that also but if it's weak and trying to recover cutting it might put it over the edge.? I'll leave them a few weeks to see 🌞 @Mikekally

Hi Mark, @spidermonkey Could it be the dry spell rather than the spray? The first year I had mine in a pot they didn't do well at all...Was too windy a spot. Kept them in same pot but moved them to more sheltered place, and watered well. They recovered, though wasn't a great show of leaves til the following year. I'd avoid cutting them/moving them too...
