Help me identify this plant can't remember it's name and it's not a great pic sorry! This little shrub was given to me by my mum a few years ago and for a long time was the only plant I owned! It is very special as it also houses our deceased gerbils. We just call it the gerbil tree. Should add this pic was taken in spring
They need an acid soil to stop the leaves turning yellow. I'm not sure if deceased gerbils will turn the soil acid enough 😁😂😆 but it's a lovely story 😊
Oh thanks @angiecrazycatlady how would turn it acid? Can't have it dying at least not until we move! They had to buried in a pot so the gerbils move us you see!
When you repot it use compost especially for rhododendrons and azaleas and it will soon green up. If you can knock off some of the old soil first so the roots get straight to the new soil, obviously taking care not to disturb the gerbils. Also you can buy good for acid plants too that might give it a boost 😀😊
Oh thanks will have a look for some!!! Not funny a nearly dug one of the gerbils up on Christmas Eve when our last one died lol! Sooner we move the better lol
