I love this ground cover plant, have two types in my garden, burgundy glow and atropurpurea, does tend to suffer with mildew though

Irregular moisture / dryness promotes mildew however Ajuga is a real swine for it.

I have clay soil in a shady area I'd like to plant this in. Do you know if it would thrive? Conflicting advice online! @Squares
