These crazy little flowers on my Crassula cocinea. Unfortunately he’s turning green inside for the winter, despite my grow lamp. #succulent

What kind of grow light are you using if you don’t mind me asking. Sometimes the lumens are not enough to satisfy and maybe you could benefit from some red and purple led lights as well

@erichbubig I have two strips of blue and red LED lights on each shelf in a big West facing window. The shelf he’s on also has a regular red and blue LED light. I’m in Western New York, so I am not getting much sun right now. I have a few places that have Southern exposure instead of lights. I just moved him there to see if it helps!

Well I would suggest that since it’s a west facing window and it’s not receiving normal amounts of light that you find a bulb that is between 5000-6500 lumens in order to better simulate normal sunlight as well as prevent etiolation. Although two colored bulbs will provide benefit as you can see with your flowers blooming, they will still extend to try and get more light.

@squirrellywolf what's the normal color? Why "unfortunately"?

@mahdibagheri1257 it’s a deep red. Unfortunately because the plant is happier when sun stressed.
