Its very interesting, and a lovely effect. I have had some flowers come up like that before. Its a condition called ‘Fasciation’, a disorder which can cause misshapen stems (often flattened and wider) and misshapen flower heads like two joined together. Some plants species are quite prone to it. Not something you should worry about though, sometimes caused by genetics, other times by a little bit of pest or physical damage earlier in year. It may never return, as it can be random 😊 #fasciation
