Slowing building my collection of houseplants, I've managed to keep this one alive for hmmm. At least 7 months!!!
That's success in my house! 👍🏼😉
Mine too haha. I always seem to kill them but I've not killed any house plants this year yet haha. @rachelbrooks
There's time! 🙈😂😂

Help me identify this plant - Its only been with me a few months but for some reason, plants from Wilkinson, particularly houseplants have no labels.. It just says indoor foliage.. Any help appreciated :) #houseplant
Is it a type of Dracenna (probably spelt that wrong lol) 😊
I agree Lyndsey, it's not just Wilkinson's either. They seem to just put a generic label on plants and the rest is guess work. I can't help identifying your plant as I know very little about houseplants as I am a serial murderer of them. 😊😊😊 @steadysgirl7
@angiecrazycatlady I've thought that and Googled lots of photos and all come up with brown woody stems and this has a green soft stem so unless it's a young version and the young have green soft stems rather than hard woody ones.. It's a mystery!
@pelly I have only just started keeping house plants and its harder than it looks isn't it ha ha. Yes generic label and generic care instructions.. Not the most helpful but the price usually sways me ha ha.
Looks like a "lemon lime" dracaena deremensis
I've recently rooted a piece of lucky bamboo and it's now growing well in compost as opposed to water and it looks very similar as lucky bamboo is a member of the dracaena family maybe they don't all get woody stems. It's so annoying when shops don't name their plants isn't it how are you supposed to Google the case instructions without a name 😬
Thank you @treefrog44 :)
@angiecrazycatlady Ahh good point! I've just done more Googling and think it is for sure part of the dracaena family now.. And yes it really is so annoying, sometimes it's worth the guess work for the price but other times it's just frustrating! Thank you for your help :)
Your welcome 😆
Dracina
This keeps growing up and losing the lowest leaves, the top new leaves are so lush looking.
