That looks a nice big healthy plant, you could probably split it into several plants next spring. I split mine in April into about a dozen smaller plants and they have all flowered now. I should have done it a few years ago but only thought about it when it stopped flowering well.

Thought this was completely dead last year but it’s spouted bigger than ever! Have realised it prefers shade so now it’s thriving! #astilbe #sunday
