A plant catastrophe. I think I've managed to accidentally kill this one. 😱
Be patient give it a chance, thought I'd lost my Azalea but has flowered beautifully on the last week 😀
@wendycur @pwdin definitely extinct. I've lifted it and something has nibbled all the roots. Afraid there's no turning back, but thank you for your words of encouragement.
@stephaniewatkins it sounds like you've got vine weevils!!! They will eat the roots and before you know it the plant is dead. There are treatments out there but I find the most effective and less harmful to wildlife is nematodes. I would lift this plant and wash the roots and put in a pot. Treat the ground and fingers crossed. If you dig up the area the grubs are white moon shaped 🌙 little nasties. Dispose off in a way you're happy with. I squish them personally and treat with nematodes. 🙏🏼
