Dracaena fragrans 'Massangeana'

Help me identify this plant. My son rescued this plant straight out of the garbage cans that we share with our fellow condo neighbors. This plant was looking like it needed more than a rescue but I wanted to see nothing more than for it to flourish. I have no plant experience and very little gardening experience but this has now struck my interest and has opened a new door for him and I to bond over. Please help us begin our journey by identifying our first rescue.😁

We have managed to keep this unidentified plant alive and doing better for a little over 3 weeks now 🤗
